The trendsetting landscape at Winter Park Village aims to make drivers a “little uncomfortable” says Longwood-based landscape architecture firm Dix.Hite + Partners Inc. The goal? To create plaza-style park areas in the core of Winter Park Village where pedestrians and vehicles are on an even footing.

The $50 million reimagining of Winter Park Village has had any number of objectives ranging from reinvigorating one of the region’s legacy lifestyle centers to securing high-end tenants across the retail, restaurant and entertainment sectors—goals it either has completed or is close to completing, with the looming announcement of its final new tenant and fully leased status.
