Buildings are being remodeled, new restaurants are open, and work on the Regal movie theater is planned as Winter Park Village undergoes a transformation nearly a quarter century after changing from a traditional mall to an open-air center.
Ruth’s Chris Steak House has moved across the parking lot to a new space with a white and gray brick exterior featuring slick red and black elements. The old Ruth’s Chris will be torn down to make way for high-end furniture store Arhaus, said Brett Hutchens, president of Casto Southeast, owner of Winter Park Village.
“It’s a total redevelopment,” Hutchens said of the work being done on Winter Park Village.
